For credits there is a common credit order which most movies use.
- The first title in the credit sequence in the name of the studio. In Catch me if you can the studio name is Dreamworks Pictures.
- Then the names of the production companies are shown which it does in the common credit order.
- Then the producers names are shown in the titles which it states in the common credit order.
- Then the directors name is supposed to be shown which it is (steven spielberg).
- It then tells us who will be starring in the movie. The names of Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hanks are shown which is what should happen in the common credit order.
- Then the films title catch me if you can is shown.
- Then the characters names who will be featuring in the movie are shown. This is what happens in the common credit sequence.
- Then the casters name is supposed to be shown which is what happens in catch me if you can.
- Then the co- producers name is shown but this is not stated in the common creidt order which means they didn't completely follow this credit sequence.
- The credits then show the authors names of the book which the film is based on. This isn't in the common credit sequence.
- The next title is the creator of the titles. Again this is not shown in the common credit order.
- Then the music producers name is shown.
- Then the costume designers and film editors names are shown which neither are shown in the common credit sequence.
- Then the productions designers name is shown.
- Then there are lots of different titles in the credit sequence of catch me if you can such as the director of photgraphy, executive producers and again the producers names. None of these are in the common credit order.
These credits are very creative in the way in which they are shown. The titles flow from on to another well. There are people walking which look like flight attendants or air hostess'. There are planes flying in the backgrounds and arrows which look like signs. The blue colours of the titles and the background resemble the sky.
Overall the titles flow from one to the other which looks good. I will take this into consideration with my group when making our film titles.
